How I did it go for the serp gate pop the rats go through dont move shoot the groups 1 at a time go through gate to research complex kill the guristas that insta-agress loot the Heron pick off the other 2 groupsin turn while the crew respawns.
Just for good measure went through gate to battleground/mission warp in point and killed the guristas but hey I'm just greedy.

You have a rattlesnake with only t2/meta mods? you realize a nromal raven with a gist c-type XL will kick your ass utterly.
Fitting is the problem here Unfortunately the ship does not have the cpu to fit T2 mods however I do have some officer/deadspace hardeners for Explosive and EM damage.
My ship has 17500 shield and only the first agressors after warping into the serpentis complex do enough damage for me to need to switch my shield booster on, the recharge rate of the shields is enough to cope with the rest. Normally I have a raven remote boosting me with 2 Large shield tranfers but thats another story.

Does the job more faction/officer mods to find their way onto the ship when the wallet recovers.

I had a rattlesnake, and I know they have no fitting problems with proper gear. Perhaps try getting something more like this?
A very nice fitting indeed a little to heavy a burden for my wallet to shoulder at this moment in time. I must say however purchasing higher grade mods for the ship would be overkill, there is no mission I cannot comfortably complete in quick time and without warping.

I was embarrassed just to read it.
To the OP I'm sorry that some choose to criticise my setup on your post where I was only expressing what I use to do the mission.
It would seem that there are many in the EVE community that are not comfortable in their owns ability as a pilot and more and more we see a reliance on the safety nets of "the best mod for the Job" rather than what is needed to get the job done in the first place.
The entire fitting of my ship comes to around 70m, maybe the vessel deserves more and with that I cannot argue, however, coupled with my skills, Implants and more importantly ability, it is more than adequate to accomplish the Job and to date not a single point of damage has been sustained by the armour of my Rattlesnake.
